Sarah McIntosh investigates FLICKER: ARTISTS AND SUPER 8, an ambitious exhibition of Super 8 art and installations, taking place at the Smiths Row gallery in Bury St Edmunds from the 19th January. It comes in at around 28 minutes in and lasts for about 8 mins Listen here

Hear about the artists and films in the exhibition through a guided tour led by Co-Curators of Flicker, Chris Mizsak (Cambridge Super 8 Group) and Rosie Grieve (Smiths Row). Learn, through the works of 15 UK and international artists about the relevance of the Super 8 medium within contemporary culture today.
In January 2013 Smiths Row in association with 
the Cambridge Super 8 Group will be hosting
an eight-week exhibition dedicated to the art of Super 8.
Smiths Row is currently accepting submissions from artists
from any discipline to produce works either using /
originating in Super 8 or inspired by the format.
Proposals can be submitted for works in any form such as
moving-image (analogue and digital), installation, performance,
graphic art, photography, painting, sculpture and
sound.
Deadline for proposal has been extended, it is now the 1st of October 2012
